Erlah was born on in the town of Lisbon, WI, on July 24, 1921, the daughter of Theodore and Isabelle (Kurtz) Siewert.  She had one brother, Theodore, and two sisters, Beulah and Joyce.

After finishing high school, I believe Erlah went to a secretarial school.
She married Henry Headley on ___________________.  They had three children, Pam, Jill, and Jean.

They moved to Waukesha Ave, Sussex, WI about 1950, not far from her parent’s farm.

“She was a longtime member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, member and treasurer of the Women’s Guild and a member of the Priscilla Circle. Erlah was a longtime member of the adult choir and she served as a church council member. She also enjoyed being a member of the city park and recreation senior swim group and was the office manager of Wisconsin Laminates for more than 40 years.”

Erlah was a fabulous cook.  She was famous—at least to me—for her Sour Cream Peach Pie and riced potatoes.

Erlah passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005, at Menomonee Falls Community Hospital at age 84.
